Website and branding for digital strategist and writer working in arts and culture
Julia Fiore, a digital strategist and writer working in arts and culture, tapped EC Studio to create a website and brand that would showcase her years of experience and help to attract new clients. A strategic plan was developed to bring together her core offerings—projects with art institutions and her extensive body of critical writing—into an engaging website and a playful yet professional brand. The website features a portfolio of recent projects as well as an archive of her writing. It also includes supporting pages for her services, client list, biography, and contact information designed to encourage inquiries from prospective collaborators. The high-saturation visual identity unifies the website and animation brings personality to every page.

Branding
Julia wanted a bold, vibrant brand that would set her apart from a traditional digital strategist and reflect her professional yet playful style. Drawing inspiration from contemporary artists and designers, I created a rich, flexible color palette to be used interchangeably for text and backgrounds. The typography is both distinctive and legible: Tidbit, a modular typeface I designed, and Caudex, a serif font with a chiseled feel. A series of animations built from Tidbit’s shapes ties the website together.
