EC Studio create a full set of wine and cider labels for Root Cellar, a Hudson Valley maker of fruit wines and ciders. Each label is illustrated with the adjuncts, the fruits, plants, and herbs grown in the region, used to make the wine or cider. These illustrations give the customers an easy way to identify and connect with each bottle at a glance. A subtle ridgeline of the Catskill Mountains runs across every label, tying the full lineup back to the winery’s home. The result is a cohesive label system — distinct bottle to bottle, but unmistakably one brand on the shelf.
